The First Pentecostal Church is a Bible believing, church of Acts. We are here to offer something that can reach out to every area of the community and touch every area of one's life.

Brief History
The First Pentecostal Church is committed to ministering to every family, reaching out to our community and impacting the world. For over 80 years, this church has been a part of the Elwood community. Our beginning was in a small garage on the corner of 7th and North A Streets. We have since grown into a 12,000 square foot facility on over two acres of ground, located on South 22nd Street. Through the years, one thing has not changed - we still believe Jesus is the answer!
Recent History
For the last eleven years, this thriving church has been led by Pastor Joe Collier. It has been under his leadership that we have experienced a great transformation that has made us an exciting and vibrant congregation for today's world. In addition to the personal transformation, we have completly remodeled our entire facility. In the last year, we have added 50 new parking spaces so that others too may come and enjoy what Jesus can do in their lives.
